It often implaies that there is no better alternative or that the alternative options are not significantly  better. Should/Might as well.  -   Muitas vezes implica que não existe alternativa melhor ou que as opções alternativas não são significativamente melhores. Deveria/Poderia também.

Piece of cake – Moleza (Algo muito fácil de fazer)

Kick the bucket – Bater as botas (Morrer)

Hit the nail on the head – Acertar na mosca (Descrever algo com precisão)

Once in a blue moon – De vez em quando (Raramente)

Hold your horses – Segurar os cavalos (Esperar, ter paciência)
